1. What data do you leave with us and why?
When booking: We only ask for what is strictly necessary (name, contact details, and dates of stay) to manage your booking, communicate with you, and issue the corresponding legal invoices. Payments are always managed through secure gateways; we never store your credit card numbers.
When writing to us: When you use our contact form or send us an email, we keep your email address and your name solely to answer your questions or requests.
Upon arrival at the hotel: In accordance with legal regulations on public safety (Organic Law 4/2015, of March 30, on the protection of citizen security and Royal Decree 933/2021), it is mandatory to register the identity of all guests over 14 years old through the traveler entry form. This is a mandatory legal procedure that we must communicate to the authorities and law enforcement agencies.
2. Who else has access?
Your data is private. We do not sell it or trade with it. We only share it with those strictly necessary to comply with the law or provide you with the service:
Security authorities: To comply with the mandatory registration of travelers required by law.
Our technical partners: The booking engine (MisterPlan), the website hosting, and our tax advisory service. All of them act as data processors and are under contract to treat your data with the same respect and security measures as we do.
3. How long do we keep your data?
We do not gather information just for the sake of it. We keep your data only for the time strictly necessary: for tax obligations with the Tax Agency (up to 6 years), for the legal traveler registration (3 years by law), or for the duration of our direct communication with you if you make an inquiry. When it is no longer needed for these legitimate purposes, it is securely deleted.
4. Your rights (you are in control)
You are the owner of your data. At any time, you can ask us to:
Access and see what information we hold about you.
Rectify any data that is incorrect or has changed.
Erase your data (right to be forgotten) if there is no longer a legal obligation requiring us to retain it.
Object to or restrict the use we make of it.
To exercise any of these rights, you just need to send us an email at info@anticapacios.com writing from the same email account with which you made your booking or inquiry (so we can verify your identity). If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may request a copy of your identification document.
We will always respond to you in less than a month, completely free of charge. And if you consider that we have not processed your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
